Paradise island in La Graciosa

Just half an hour north of Lanzarote lies the island of La Graciosa, the eighth Canary Island, which is part of the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park, where there is no asphalt or road and you can enjoy maximum tranquility.
It currently has 700 inhabitants and 29 kilometers of golden sand, which you can reach by boat from the port of Órzola, just 45 minutes from the R2 Bahía Kontiki hotel in Lanzarote, for approximately €20 round trip. You can also take your car to the port and leave it parked there if needed, although it is recommended to book the trip in advance, especially during peak season.
Undoubtedly, one of the attractions of this little-known island is its beaches, with crystal-clear waters and practically untouched surroundings. A prime example is Playa de Las Conchas, a 600-meter stretch of coastline offering a spectacular landscape you'll never forget. You can also find other beaches such as:

But you can do more than just enjoy the beaches; you can also explore La Graciosa on foot, by bicycle, or rent a 4x4 and make the most of every minute of the day. And if you're more into adventure and activities, La Graciosa is the perfect island for diving, as it's part of the largest marine reserve in Europe, covering 70,700 hectares and boasting the greatest marine biodiversity in the Canary Islands. Hiking is another activity you can enjoy, such as a 4-kilometer route to see the Montaña Amarilla volcano up close.
There is also the possibility of taking a boat tour around the island and discovering magical corners that you couldn't reach on foot.
On the island of La Graciosa, specifically in Caleta de Sebo, as it is the only area with restaurants, you can enjoy the island's star product, fresh fish accompanied by wrinkled potatoes with mojo sauce and a good Canarian wine.
