Diving in Fuerteventura

30/08/2021
None

Fuerteventura boasts a rich marine biodiversity, which has led to the establishment of several diving centers where you can learn and practice this activity in the island's waters. We highlight three interesting spots where you can dive and enjoy the underwater beauty of the island:

Fuste Cove

35 min drive from R2 Bahía Playa Design

As it's a tourist coast, the fish aren't easily frightened by people; you can even feed them! You'll also find dolphins, turtles, and sperm whales in these waters.

Ajuy

40 min drive from R2 Pájara

Ideal when the weather and tides are calm. Diving here is like discovering an underwater world full of caves and volcanic formations. As for marine life, the most common sightings are angel sharks and rays.

Morro Jable Pier

25 min drive from R2 Río Calma

Due to its shallow depth (12m), it's perfect for divers of all levels. Here you'll find groupers, parrotfish, white seabream, moray eels, and angel sharks (the latter during mating season).

Immerse yourself in the depths of Fuerteventura and, if you don't know how to dive, take advantage of the large number of diving centers on the island to learn from great experts.
